Web Optimized Image Resizing in Photoshop ?

This Article is for the Beginners in Photoshop Study those who don't know nothing about it .Early I was not knowing to operate this vital and excellent tool for image processing, also I was not having interest to learn it due to its complexity in look. I studied few techniques by self study. These techniques are simple and easy to learn. I hope that this article will surely arouse some interest in you to further study and excel in this wonderful tool. ( Version Used is 9.0.2, I hope that Interfaces will not have much difference in higher versions )

1. Click on the Photoshop Icon. You can see a Window as follows

2. Click on the File Open Menu You can see the following window

3. Select and Load the Image you want to Resize

4.Then Select the Option Save for Web from the File Menu. You can See an Interface as Follows

5. In the Above Interface click on the Image Size Tab, Now the Wonder Begin !

Here you can see the exact size of the loaded Image. You can manually put the desired image size here ( Width and Height ) . One more important thing here is that you can get the exact width and height as you like only if the Constrain Properties Box is Unchecked. If it is checked the image will try to auto-adjust the other dimension when you put the first one. ( Constrain Properties can be used to avoid the Image Quality Loss. )

Once the desired dimensions are put press the Apply Button. Now you can see your Image resizing. You can save the Image By clicking the Save Button. The main advantage this process is that you can get your Images resized with low size and high quality, which is very important in your Web needs.
